Dates (pitted)
Low-salt Teriyaki sauce
Boston leaf lettuce (opt.)
Bean/Alfalfa sprouts(opt.)
Cooking Instructions:
-Pit a bunch of dates

-Smush* a bunch of garlic cloves, chop into large chunks

-Wrap with a slice of bacon

-Skewer with thick toothpick

-Fry, turning regularly until bacon is crispy

-Squirt with some low-salt teriyaki sauce (just a bit to coat)

Substitute the garlic dates with large scallops drool.gif and squeeze lemon juice on them while you're fryin' em up. Wait until the bacon's crisp and the lemon juice is slightly caramelized.

Serving Suggestions:
-Serve hot, on some boston leaf (with maybe some bean sprouts)
Additional Comments:
*note: 'Smush' does NOT mean squeeze them through one of those garlic press thingamabobs, it means to crush them under the flat side of a broad knife in order to remove the peel
